Home Sweet Plan
A shared space where a family keeps track of what has to be done, what is scheduled, and who takes care of it. Two adults share tasks and events, assign them to each other and get reminded on their phones; the children are part of the plan without an account.
ASP.NET Core and PostgreSQL behind one OpenAPI contract, a Kotlin Multiplatform app for Android, an Astro landing page. homesweetplan.com
I built it because I struggled to stay organised and to finish tasks across every part of life – the kids, their activities, work on the house. The mental load kept piling up. Now I can plan my week calmly and move at my own pace.
Above all, it is for organising things with my wife. Before, I could be busy with things that satisfied me while she saw no progress on her side, and that was frustrating. Now we plan together, move forward together, and we are both happy with the progress. One shared goal.
Right now, my wife and I are testing it. I will keep improving it until I am happy with it, then share it with 14 testers so I can publish it on the Google Play Store.
Hatimly
A shared reading of the whole Quran, split into its 30 Juz among a group.
A web app in production, and a mobile app on the way: an ASP.NET Core API and a Kotlin Multiplatform app for Android and iOS, in one monorepo. hatimly.com
We used to organise our readings on WhatsApp. Each of us took one part every week, but it was hard to say who was doing what, and when someone could not finish their reading, it was a real mess. Organising 30 Juz in a chat does not work. Hatimly makes it easy to see who takes what and to track progress, and it motivates us to read every day.
The web app is what we use today, in a group of two or three friends. The mobile app is nearly done, and I will finish it: I enjoyed building it and put a lot of time into it. It needs two or three motivated days to get it over the line.
Learning
A public tracker of what I am learning, from which courses, and how far I have got. Each Learning Path lists external courses – playlists, PDFs, online courses – split into the videos and chapters I tick as I go. The first one is electricity.
React, Vite and a small Hono API on a Cloudflare Worker, with progress in Workers KV. learn.mehmetcinar.com
I built it because I learn from many sites. Some track my progress, some don’t, and when I stop for a while it is hard to pick up again.
mehmetcinar.com
This Site. Astro on the AstroPaper theme, hosted on Cloudflare, built with Claude Code. The code is public: github.com/mcinarpro/mehmetcinar.com
